About the Position
Responsibilities include
- Provide executive-level leadership and operational oversight for the Hematology/Oncology division within the facility Medical Group.
- Serve as Associate Medical Director for the the facility Service Line, helping guide systemwide the facility care strategy.
- Lead and oversee more than 40 full-time academic hematology/oncology physicians across the division.
- Manage strategic oversight of over $1 billion in annual Gross Patient Revenue (GPR) attributed to the division.
- Direct clinical, academic, and research programs within hematology and oncology services across the health system.
- Oversee integration and expansion of oncology services across five hospitals and multiple ambulatory locations across Southeast and Central Michigan.
- Provide leadership to the Bone Marrow Transplant Program, infusion programs, and systemwide oncology services.
- Work closely with the Department of Medicine Chair and the facility Service Line leadership to align strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with the facility Health + Michigan State University the facility Center leadership to advance the facility research initiatives.
- Expand the institution's investigator-initiated clinical trials, precision medicine, and population health initiatives.
- Mentor early-career investigators and support academic development among faculty.
- Promote multidisciplinary collaborations across departments and specialties.
- Support and advance graduate medical education and fellowship training programs.
- Develop innovative models for inpatient and outpatient oncology care.
- Work with other division heads, department chairs, and institutional leaders to implement best practices in the facility care delivery.
- Maintain a clinical practice (~25%) within the Hematology/Oncology Division.
- Dedicate time to leadership, academic initiatives, research development, and operational strategy.
- Not Accepting Board Eligible/ Fresh Graduates
- Must complete Hematology/Oncology Fellowship
- Not open for locum or any locum to perm
- Experience is required

Work allocation (approximate)
- 40% Division Head leadership
- 25% Clinical practice
- 25% Associate Medical Director responsibilities
- 10% Academic and research initiatives

Compensation and Benefits
- $500,000 - $550,000 annual base salary
- Salary may vary depending on experience and training. Providers may submit salary expectations with presentation.

- Clean Malpractice and Licensing History [REQUIRED]
- Candidates must be experienced physicians (new graduates not accepted) [REQUIRED]
