Opportunity Details

A hospital in eastern North Carolina has an opening for an OB Hospitalist to provide 24-hour locum tenens coverage.

Opportunity Overview:

  • Schedule: 24-hour shifts
  • Setting: Inpatient
  • Average Daily Volume: 50 patients
  • Average Daily Admissions: 10 per day, 5 per night
  • Average Monthly Surgical Cases: 10 per surgeon
  • Duties: ED consults, GYN service, emergent GYN surgeries, and labor and delivery
  • Procedures Required: Cesarean delivery, D&C (obstetric and gynecologic), diagnostic and operative laparoscopy, urgent and emergent gynecologic cases
  • Team Structure: 27 MDs, 9 APPs
  • EMR: Epic
  • Must be board-certified
  • Paid travel & expenses
