About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Neonatologist for our client in Michigan, for a 200-day assignment beginning Jul 1, 2026. The successful physician will manage high-risk deliveries and C-sections, provide comprehensive ventilation support, and perform various neonatal procedures. Shifts will involve 10-hour day shifts followed by night call, requiring expertise in emergency situations and potential supervision of Neonatal Nurse Practitioners.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Attend high-risk deliveries and C-sections
  • Provide ventilation management, including:
  • BiPAP/CPAP
  • Oscillator ventilator support
  • Nitric Oxide (iNO)
  • Perform neonatal procedures, including:
  • Chest tube insertion
  • Central line insertion
  • Arterial line insertion
  • PA catheter insertion
  • Umbilical Venous Catheterization (UVC)
  • Umbilical Artery Catheterization (UAC)
  • PICC placement
  • Manage emergency situations and participate in neonatal resuscitation
  • Potentially supervise Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs)
  • Document patient care using EPIC EMR.
