Primary Care Physician | Texas

Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (40 hours per week)

Call: Every 6th weekday on call 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM, plus one weekend every 6 weeks

Position Overview

• Primary care coverage in a state supported living center setting
• Typical patient volume referenced: up to 10 patients per day
• Patient ages referenced: 9 through late 80s
• EMR: Cerner preferred

Call Expectations (referenced)

• Call is mostly handled by phone
• Weekend and holiday call requires on site infirmary rounds and evaluation of acute illness or injuries

Requirements (referenced)

• Active Texas license
• DEA
• NPI
• CPR or BLS
• Clean record with no board sanctions
