About the Position

A Pennsylvania hospital and Level I Trauma Center is seeking a Locum Tenens Urologist for 24-hour beeper call coverage. This opportunity offers a combination of inpatient call responsibilities, surgical procedures, and outpatient clinical care with strong support staff and access to robotic surgery.

📅 Coverage Dates

• July 13–17, 2026 (possible extension through July 20)
• September 21 (7:00 AM) – September 27 (7:00 AM)

🏥 Practice Details

• Hospital-based setting
• 24-hour beeper call
• Callback averages 2–6 hours daily
• EMR: Epic
• Adult patient population (18+)
• Level I Trauma Center
• Robotic Surgery Available 🤖
• 16 Operating Rooms

👨‍⚕️ Clinical Responsibilities

• Vasectomy
• Cystoscopy
• Prostate procedures
• Ureteroscopy
• Lithotripsy
• Orchiopexy
• Penile plication
• Rare penile implant procedures
• Vasectomy reversals (preferred but not required)
• APP supervision

👥 Support Team

• 4 Medical Assistants
• 1 Clinical Service Associate
• 1 Registered Nurse

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
• Active Pennsylvania License preferred
• IMLC Letter of Qualification accepted
• DEA required
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• New graduates welcome
• Ability to supervise Advanced Practice Providers
