Primary Care NP

Location: Florida
Schedule: Ongoing per diem day shifts
Openings: 1

Position Overview
Provide outpatient primary care and acute episodic care in a corporate health clinic setting for employees and family members. This role includes wellness and prevention focused care and may include occupational health and workers’ compensation services as outlined below.

Clinical Scope

• Ages: 2 and older
• Patient volume: up to approximately 3 patients per hour
• Care includes wellness and prevention, acute episodic visits, and chronic condition management
• Occupational health services may include pre employment physicals, drug and alcohol testing, suturing and laceration repair, splinting or minor fracture care, and occupational testing as outlined in the order details
• Workers’ compensation evaluations and return to work determinations may be included
• EMR: Athena experience preferred

Required Qualifications

• NP with family practice background
• Active Florida license
• National certification
• DEA required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required

Training

• Paid shadow training is preferred prior to working
• OSHA and HIPAA certifications must be completed prior to start
