What You’ll Do
- Evaluate and diagnose orthopedic conditions through physical exams and imaging studies
- Develop and implement treatment plans, combining surgical and non-surgical options
- Perform a wide range of surgical procedures, including joint replacements and fracture repairs
- Manage pre-operative and post-operative patient care to ensure safety and optimal recovery
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including primary care, therapy, and rehab specialists
- Participate in rotating on-call coverage as part of a dedicated orthopedic team
- Maintain accurate medical records and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues
- Stay current with advancements in orthopedic surgery and pursue ongoing professional development
What You Need
- Vermont medical license or eligibility, Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery preferred
- Relevant surgical experience, including proficiency in orthopedic techniques
- Excellent diagnostic, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work well within a team and demonstrate attention to detail
