What You’ll Do

  • Evaluate and diagnose orthopedic conditions through physical exams and imaging studies
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, combining surgical and non-surgical options
  • Perform a wide range of surgical procedures, including joint replacements and fracture repairs
  • Manage pre-operative and post-operative patient care to ensure safety and optimal recovery
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including primary care, therapy, and rehab specialists
  • Participate in rotating on-call coverage as part of a dedicated orthopedic team
  • Maintain accurate medical records and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues
  • Stay current with advancements in orthopedic surgery and pursue ongoing professional development

What You Need

  • Vermont medical license or eligibility, Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery preferred
  • Relevant surgical experience, including proficiency in orthopedic techniques
  • Excellent diagnostic, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work well within a team and demonstrate attention to detail
