About the Position

CRNA or Anesthesiologist

Location: Tennessee
Schedule: Ongoing coverage with a minimum 6 month commitment preferred. Primarily Monday through Friday with limited weekends and call as available. Shifts focus on 10 hour coverage with some 12 hour shifts and limited 24 hour coverage blocks, as outlined in the order details.

Position Overview
Provide anesthesia coverage in a hospital setting in a care team model. This role requires comfort working in a mixed model that includes supervision and personally performing cases as outlined in the order details.

Clinical Scope

• Care team model
• CRNA coverage includes a mix of supervised and autonomous work as outlined in the order details
• Physicians must be comfortable supervising and also performing cases as outlined in the order details
• Ages: All ages including healthy pediatrics
• Case mix may include general anesthesia, orthopedics, ENT, vascular, urology, gynecology, transplants, neuro (heads and spine), cardiac (TEE), and non OR anesthesia areas such as GI, cath lab, and interventional radiology, as outlined in the order details
• Hearts, heads, and OB are required as outlined in the order details
• EMR: Epic

Call

• Call types include in house and beeper call as outlined in the order details
• Cardiac, neuro, transplant, and other call needs vary by site and scheduling as outlined in the order details

Required Qualifications

• CRNA: Current CRNA certification and required credentials as outlined in the order details
• Physician: MD or DO with board certification as outlined in the order details
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• DEA required
• Active Tennessee and or Mississippi license preferred as outlined in the order details
• TEE certification required if cardiac coverage is included as outlined in the order details
• No new graduates as outlined in the order details

Credentialing

• Onboarding and credentialing timeframe is typically 60 to 90 days, as outlined in the order details
