  • Schedule: Mostly weekends and coverage for days off; weekday shifts may also be available
  • Weekend Coverage: Friday through Sunday, with occasional extension through Monday
  • Clinical Setting: High-acuity surgical services with broad anesthesia support
  • EMR Systems: Cerner & AIMS

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of CRNA experience required
  • Current Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification
  • Active North Carolina licensure or ability to obtain licensure in a timely manner
  • Eligible for credentialing and privileging
  • Comfort working across multiple service lines in a busy anesthesia environment
  • Ability to adapt to changing case needs and weekend coverage schedules

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care for a diverse surgical case mix
  • Support general, orthopedic, endoscopy, urology, gynecology, robotics, and neuro/spine cases
  • Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, anesthesia techs, and the broader care team
  • Monitor patients throughout the perioperative process and respond appropriately to clinical changes
  • Document anesthesia care accurately in the electronic medical record
  • Deliver flexible locum tenens coverage for weekends and assigned weekday shifts as needed
