What You’ll Do
- Provide professional nursing care for diverse patient populations in ER, Med/Surg, PCU, and float settings
- Perform head-to-toe assessments and ongoing patient monitoring
- Administer medications accurately following the six rights of medication safety
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop, revise, and evaluate care plans
- Respond quickly and effectively to changes in patient conditions and emergencies
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, diagnoses, and health promotion
- Assist physicians with procedures and treatments requiring manual and technical skills
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
- Adapt to a small, rural facility environment, demonstrating independence and resourcefulness
What You Need
- Required:
- Valid RN license in New Hampshire
- BLS certification
- Prior ER/Med/Surg or PCU experience
- Strong communication and clinical assessment skills
- Preferred:
- ACLS and PALS certifications
- Experience working independently in rural or small healthcare settings
