About the Position

🚨🩺 Locum Tenens Gastroenterology Physician Opportunity | Pennsylvania 🌟🏥

We are seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist for a locum tenens assignment providing both clinic and hospital-based gastroenterology services. The physician will perform colonoscopies and EGDs and manage inpatient consultations. ⚕️✨

This position follows a 2-weeks-on / 2-weeks-off rotation, providing a balanced schedule while maintaining continuity of care. ⚖️📅

📍 Schedule Details:
• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 📆
• 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM ⏰
• Day shift ☀️
• On-call responsibilities required 📞

💼 Clinical Responsibilities Include:
• Performing colonoscopy and endoscopic procedures 🔬
• Evaluating and managing inpatient GI consults 🏥
• Providing care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients 👨‍⚕️👵
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team 🤝
• Documenting all encounters and procedures in Epic 💻

🌟 Practice Environment:
The physician will work within a supportive gastroenterology department that includes physicians, APPs, and clinical and non-clinical staff. The average patient volume is 10–11 patients per day. 👥🏥

✅ Requirements:
• Board Certified in Gastroenterology ✔️
• Active Pennsylvania Medical License (willing to license acceptable) 📍
• DEA license required 📝
• Minimum 2 years of experience ⭐
• Proficiency in colonoscopy and EGD procedures 🔎
• Epic EMR experience required 💻
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in clinic and hospital settings 🤝
• Strong written and verbal communication skills 🗣️
