About the Position

We are seeking a Cardiologist for a locum tenens opportunity that combines hospital consults, hospital call, and outpatient clinic coverage. This role follows a rotating structure consisting of one week of inpatient call coverage followed by one week of outpatient clinic coverage. ⚕️📈

📅 Schedule Structure:

🏥 Week 1: Hospital Call
• Monday 7:00 AM to Monday 7:00 AM ⏰

🩺 Week 2: Clinic Coverage
• Monday–Friday 📆
• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM ⏰

🔄 This rotation continues throughout the assignment. Coverage requires two physicians monthly to support two weeks of call and two weeks of clinic.

💼 Clinical Responsibilities:
• Inpatient cardiology consults 🩺
• Diagnostic interpretation 📊
• Outpatient evaluation and management 👨‍⚕️

• Hospital consults 🏥
• TEEs ❤️
• Echocardiograms 📈
• Nuclear cardiology testing ☢️
• General cardiology call coverage 📞

✅ Requirements:
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiology (Board Eligible accepted) ✔️
• Active Pennsylvania Medical License 📍
• DEA required 📝

💡 Ability to perform and interpret:
• Echocardiograms 📊
• Transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) ❤️
• Nuclear stress testing ⚡

🌟 Additional Qualifications:
• Comfortable managing inpatient consults and outpatient clinic patients 💪
• Epic EMR experience preferred 💻
• Strong communication and collaboration skills 🤝
