About the Position

We are seeking a Non-Interventional Cardiologist for a locum tenens assignment providing inpatient cardiology coverage in an acute care hospital setting. This role focuses on consultative and diagnostic cardiology services for adult patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions. ⚕️📈

📅 Schedule Details:
• Monday–Sunday coverage 📆
• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM ⏰
• One-hour lunch (8 hours worked) 🍽️
• Occasional weeknight call 🌙
• Weekend coverage as needed 📞
• Coverage requirement: 1–2 weeks per month, including weekends as required ✔️

🏥 Clinical Responsibilities:
The cardiologist will manage a high-volume inpatient census and provide non-invasive procedural and interpretive services. Interventional and electrophysiology services are available onsite for escalation of care. 🚑❤️

Primary responsibilities include:
• Direct patient care 👨‍⚕️
• Diagnostic interpretation 📊
• Inpatient consults 🩺
• Collaboration with multidisciplinary cardiology teams 🤝

✅ Requirements:
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology (Board Certification preferred) ✔️
• Active Pennsylvania Medical License 📍
• DEA required 📝
• ACLS and BLS certifications required 🚨

📌 Experience with non-invasive cardiology procedures including:
• Echocardiograms ❤️
• Stress testing (including nuclear) 🏃‍♂️
• Holter monitoring 📈
• EKG interpretation 📋
• TEEs
• Cardioversions ⚡

💡 Additional Qualifications:
• Ability to manage inpatient consults independently 💪
• Epic EMR experience preferred 💻
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills 🗣️
• CTA reading certification preferred (not required) 📖
