About the Position

🚨🩺 Locum Tenens Urology Physician Opportunity – Pennsylvania 🌟

We are seeking a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Urologist for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity providing 24-hour weekend call coverage in an acute care hospital setting. This is an on-call–only position with no scheduled clinic responsibilities. ⚕️🏥

📅 Schedule Overview:
• 24-hour call coverage ⏰
• Friday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM 🌙
• Alternatively, Friday 5:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM may be considered 🔄
• Coverage needed for two weekends per month 📆
• Holiday coverage is required 🎄🩺

👨‍⚕️ Practice Details:
The physician will provide inpatient and emergency department urology coverage for adult patients. This is a general urology practice with no interventional radiology department onsite; higher-acuity trauma cases are typically transferred to a tertiary care facility. 🚑

There is no clinic volume associated with this role. The position is purely call-based, supporting a community hospital environment with an established urology team. 🤝🏥

✅ Requirements:
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Urology
• Active Pennsylvania Medical License (or willingness to obtain) 📍
• DEA required 📝
• Minimum 5 years of experience ⭐
• Proficient in general urology
• Comfortable managing inpatient consults and ER call independently 💪
• Epic EMR experience preferred 💻
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills 🗣️
