Locums Family Medicine Physician in Iowa - Full Spectrum Practice, Rural Medicine

Enjoy a broad-spectrum Family Medicine practice that combines clinic care, hospital rounding, and nursing home coverage. This assignment is ideal for physicians who enjoy continuity across multiple care settings.

Practice & Cases

• Outpatient primary care and inpatient rounding responsibilities
• Care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
• Preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute visits
• Office procedures including lesion removal and laceration repair

Schedule

• Monday through Friday coverage
• Hospital rounds completed before clinic
• Shared physician call rotation
• Weekend rounding responsibilities during call assignments

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Iowa license required
• ACLS, BLS, DEA, and PALS required

Logistics

• Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage covered
• Open to physicians with an active IMLC LOQ
