About the Position

Emergency Medicine Physician

Location: Texas

Schedule: Twelve hour shifts supporting 24 hour physician coverage.

Openings: 1

Position Overview

• Provide emergency medicine physician coverage in an emergency department setting.
• Estimated annual volume referenced as approximately 18,250.
• Charting system: Cerner.

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO.
• Residency trained in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine as accepted by the site.
• Board certified in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine as accepted by the site.
• Active Texas medical license.
• DEA with Texas address and required schedules.
• For Family Medicine or Internal Medicine trained physicians, ACLS, ATLS, and PALS as required by the site.
• Recent documented emergency medicine experience may be required.
• Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.

Credentialing and Onboarding

• Credentialing timeline varies by site and provider file completeness.
• Immunization and TB documentation may be required.
