About the Position

Emergency Medicine Physician

Location: Louisiana

Schedule: Ongoing coverage with day and night shifts as scheduled by the site.

Openings: 1

Position Overview

• Provide emergency medicine physician coverage in a hospital emergency department.
• Annual emergency department volume referenced as approximately 39,000.
• Trauma level referenced as Level I.
• Charting system: Epic.
• Coverage model includes physician and advanced practice support as scheduled by the site.

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO.
• Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine as required by the site.
• Active Louisiana medical license.
• DEA with Louisiana address and Louisiana controlled substance registration as required.
• ACLS, ATLS, and PALS as required by the site.
• Case logs for the past two years as required by the site.
• Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.
