About the Position

An excellent locum opportunity is available for an Emergency Medicine Physician in Oklahoma. This role offers a flexible schedule with consistent 12-hour shifts, a collaborative clinical environment, and strong specialty backup support. Physicians will provide coverage across the Emergency Department and Urgent Care setting while managing a broad range of emergency cases in a high-volume environment.

The position features double physician coverage, modern EMR systems, and the opportunity to work alongside experienced clinical teams. Day and night shift rotations are available, with a schedule of 3 shifts per week.

• Emergency Department & Urgent Care coverage

• 33 total beds including ER & overflow/urgent care beds
• Average patient load of 2.5–3 patients per hour
• Cerner EMR system

Requirements

• Active OK medical license required
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine preferred
• Family Medicine physicians with strong Emergency Department experience encouraged to apply
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department or Urgent Care experience
• Current ACLS, PALS & BLS certifications required
• Comfortable treating patients of all ages
• Experience managing acute & chronic care conditions
• Ability to work nights, weekends & holidays as needed
