Description

Premium locum Critical Care Physician opportunity in Massachusetts offering high hourly rates and flexible PRN scheduling. Join a collaborative ICU team where you’ll supervise residents, manage critically ill patients, and work in a structured, no-call environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for physicians seeking high income + schedule flexibility + academic exposure.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care coverage in ICU setting (adult patients)
• Supervise internal medicine residents during shifts
• Manage ICU patient care (avg. census ~16–19 patients)
• Perform procedures if required (based on resident availability)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
• Ensure accurate and timely EMR documentation (EPIC)

Qualifications

• MD/DO – Board Certified in Critical Care
• Active Massachusetts license (required – no licensing support)
• ACLS & BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year ICU experience
• Comfortable supervising residents in a teaching environment

Working Hours

• PRN / Flexible Scheduling
• Night Shifts: 7 PM – 8 AM
• Weekend Options:
  • 7 PM – 8 AM
  • 8 AM – 7 PM
  • 2 PM – 12 AM
• No Call
