We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiac Anesthesiologist for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Pennsylvania beginning June 2026. This hospital-based position offers a collaborative clinical environment with exposure to a broad range of complex surgical and procedural cases in a high-acuity setting. Providers will work alongside surgeons and specialty clinicians delivering patient-centered care across multiple anesthetizing locations.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services for cardiac surgical procedures
• Deliver high-quality perioperative patient care across a variety of surgical and procedural settings
• Collaborate with surgeons, specialty physicians, CRNAs, and perioperative staff
• Manage patients in a high-acuity Level I Trauma environment
• Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient management
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and patient safety standards
• Participate in scheduled clinical coverage with no on-call responsibilities

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• Active Pennsylvania medical license required OR IMLC Letter of Qualification in hand
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred
• Cardiac anesthesia experience required
• Clean background and credentialing history preferred for expedited privileges consideration

Working Hours

• Start Date: June 10, 2026
• Ongoing assignment
• Schedule: 4–5 shifts per week
• Shift Length: 10-hour day shifts
• Shift Times may vary:
  • 6:15 AM – 4:45 PM
  • 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM
  • 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Monday through Friday schedule
• No call required
• Providers able to commit to one week per month may also be considered
