About the Position

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible General Cardiologist to join a growing cardiology service line. This role includes outpatient clinic work, inpatient consults, and diagnostic/procedural responsibilities in a supportive, team-based setting.

Schedule & Coverage

  • Full-time position
  • Standard weekday schedule (clinic + procedures)
  • Call requirement: 1–2 nights per week
  • Weekend call rotation: approximately 1 in 4–5 weekends
  • Mix of inpatient rounding and outpatient clinic responsibilities
  • Ongoing contract with a minimum 6-month commitment

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Outpatient cardiology clinic (approx. 17–18 patients/day)
  • Inpatient consults and rounding
  • Nuclear cardiology interpretations
  • Stress testing and echocardiography
  • TEE (Transesophageal Echocardiography)
  • Cardioversions
  • Holter and cardiac monitoring interpretation
  • Optional CT reading experience preferred (not required)

Practice Environment

  • Collaborative cardiology team with APP support
  • Dedicated procedural lab time (3 days/week)
  • Strong clinical support staff
  • Adult patient population
  • Approx. 150-bed acute care setting
  • Fully integrated EPIC EMR system

Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
  • Active Pennsylvania license (or eligibility via IMLC)
  • DEA registration required
  • Minimum 1 year clinical cardiology experience preferred
  • Nuclear and echocardiography board certification required
  • Strong procedural and diagnostic cardiology skills
