About the Position
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible General Cardiologist to join a growing cardiology service line. This role includes outpatient clinic work, inpatient consults, and diagnostic/procedural responsibilities in a supportive, team-based setting.
Schedule & Coverage
- Full-time position
- Standard weekday schedule (clinic + procedures)
- Call requirement: 1–2 nights per week
- Weekend call rotation: approximately 1 in 4–5 weekends
- Mix of inpatient rounding and outpatient clinic responsibilities
- Ongoing contract with a minimum 6-month commitment
Clinical Responsibilities
- Outpatient cardiology clinic (approx. 17–18 patients/day)
- Inpatient consults and rounding
- Nuclear cardiology interpretations
- Stress testing and echocardiography
- TEE (Transesophageal Echocardiography)
- Cardioversions
- Holter and cardiac monitoring interpretation
- Optional CT reading experience preferred (not required)
Practice Environment
- Collaborative cardiology team with APP support
- Dedicated procedural lab time (3 days/week)
- Strong clinical support staff
- Adult patient population
- Approx. 150-bed acute care setting
- Fully integrated EPIC EMR system
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
- Active Pennsylvania license (or eligibility via IMLC)
- DEA registration required
- Minimum 1 year clinical cardiology experience preferred
- Nuclear and echocardiography board certification required
- Strong procedural and diagnostic cardiology skills
