About the Position

Emergency Medicine Physician

Location: Louisiana

Schedule: Twelve hour day and night shifts referenced, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Position Overview

• Provide emergency medicine physician coverage in an emergency department setting.
• Annual volume referenced as approximately 16,000.
• Charting system: Cerner Community Works.

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO.
• Board certified in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine with emergency medicine experience as accepted by the site.
• Active Louisiana medical license.
• DEA with Louisiana address and Louisiana controlled substance registration as required.
• BLS, ACLS, ATLS, and PALS as required by the site.
• Case logs for the past two years as required by the site.
• Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.

• Temporary privileges may be available based on file quality.
