About the Position

A well-established acute care facility in York, PA is seeking a Maternal Fetal Medicine physician for an ongoing locum tenens assignment with flexible scheduling options and a highly supportive clinical environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for providers seeking consistent weekday coverage, strong support staff, and the ability to work full-time or in recurring one-week blocks each month.

Position Highlights

• Monday–Friday schedule | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• No call required
• Ongoing assignment with long-term potential
• Flexible scheduling — full-time preferred, but one week/month acceptable

Practice Setting

• Outpatient clinic setting
• Average of 25 patients per day
• Collaborative team environment with:
  • 2 RNs
  • 2 Medical Assistants
  • 2 APPs
• EPIC EMR
• Level III Pediatrics support

Clinical Scope

The ideal provider will be comfortable managing high-risk pregnancies and performing advanced maternal fetal medicine evaluations and consultations, including:

• Ultrasound performance and interpretation
• Level II targeted ultrasounds
• Fetal echocardiography
• Amniocentesis/genetic procedures
• Management of:
  • Pregnancy-induced hypertension
  • HELLP syndrome
  • Diabetes (Type I, II, and gestational)
  • Cardiac, pulmonary, renal, neurological, autoimmune, and hematologic disorders
  • Placenta previa/abruption
  • Multiple gestations

Strong ultrasound diagnostic skills are highly preferred.

Requirements

• BC/BE in Maternal Fetal Medicine
• Pennsylvania license OR IMLC
• DEA and BLS required
• Minimum 1 year of experience preferred
