  • Work Schedule: Flexible shifts at in-house NICU, approximately 40 hours/week
  • Experience: Board Certified/Eligible Neonatologist with valid license in Missouri or eligibility to obtain one
  • Certifications: Board Certification required; current Neonatal Certification preferred
  • Other Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience preferred

What You’ll Do

  • Provide in-house neonatal intensive care for critically ill newborns in a Level-IIIB NICU
  • Manage neonatal emergencies using advanced therapies such as inhaled nitric oxide (iNO), high-frequency ventilation, and hypothermia treatments
  • Care for extremely low gestational age infants, including those as young as 22 weeks
  • Collaborate with a team of board-certified neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners
  • Oversee and support NICU and Well-Baby units as needed
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to regional neonatal care coordination
  • Support out-of-house coverage through telehealth services

What You Need

  • Valid medical license in Missouri or eligible for licensure
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatology
  • Minimum 2 years NICU experience preferred
  • Basic life support and neonatal resuscitation certifications
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
