About the Position
We are seeking a board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon for a 120-day assignment in Kentucky, starting Jun 1, 2026. This role involves 24-hour call shifts from 7 AM - 7 AM, including 8 AM - 5 PM clinic hours and weeknight call after clinic. The Orthopedic Surgeon will serve as the primary MD on call, manage typical trauma joint and fracture repairs, and conduct patient rounding and follow-ups, with no APP on call.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Serve as the primary Orthopedic Physician on call, without APP support.
- Perform callbacks for typical trauma joint and fracture repairs.
- Conduct typical rounding and patient consults/follow-ups.
Additional Information
- Board Certification in Orthopaedic Surgery
- EMR System: Meditech EHR
- Cases include typical trauma joint and fracture repairs; no spine or hand surgeries are required
