About the Position

Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner

Location: Tennessee

Schedule: Flexible coverage with day and night coverage blocks as needed.

Position Overview

• Provide emergency department coverage as a Nurse Practitioner.
• No procedures required as referenced.
• Combined volume referenced as approximately 93 encounters per day (site reported).

Required Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner.
• Active Tennessee RN and NP license.
• Board certification through AANP or ANCC.
• ACLS and PALS.
• DEA with Tennessee address and required prescriptive authority.
• Case logs for the past two years as required by the site.
• Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.

Credentialing and Onboarding

• Credentialing timeline varies by site. Estimated timeframe referenced as 61 to 90 days.
• TB testing and immunization documentation may be required.
