This is an excellent opportunity for a Board-Certified Psychiatrist seeking a structured, weekday schedule with no call responsibilities, working alongside a collaborative and multidisciplinary care team.

📍 Position Highlights:

• Location: Newton, MA
• Start Date: June 22, 2026
• Assignment Length: Ongoing
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (No Call)
• Setting: Inpatient Psychiatric Unit within an acute care hospital
• Patient Population: Adult
• Daily Volume: Approximately 8 patients per day
• Unit Details: 45-bed unit with an average census of 33

💼 Clinical Scope:

• Manage a diverse adult inpatient population including:
  Bipolar disorder, depression, schizophrenia, anxiety disorders, substance use disorders, and personality disorders
• Collaborate closely with a robust support team including RNs, Mental Health Counselors, Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, and Unit Coordinators
• Utilize Epic EMR for documentation

✅ Requirements:

• Board Certified in Psychiatry
• Active Massachusetts License
• DEA certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience preferred
