Position Overview

A Gynecologic Oncologist is needed for a flexible locum opportunity combining OR, clinic, and call coverage. This role offers a balanced schedule with strong support staff and the opportunity to work in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Schedule & Coverage

• 1 week per month (flexible scheduling)
• Clinic: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (30-minute lunch)
• OR: 7:00/8:00 AM – 4:00/5:00 PM
• Weekday: Day shifts + after-hours call (APPs take first call)
• Weekend: 24-hour call coverage
• Flexible 7-day block scheduling (Friday–Friday preferred)

Work Details

• Patient Volume:
  • Clinic: 15–20 patients/day
  • OR: As needed
• Patient Population: Adults (18+)
• EMR: EPIC
• Support Staff: 2 MAs, 3 APPs
• Department: 1 Surgeon + APP team
• Practice Settings: Hospital, Clinic, Ambulatory Surgery Center, Academic/Teaching environment

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gynecologic Oncology
• Active PA License or IMLC LOQ required
• DEA required
