About the Position

💼 Role: Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) – Gastroenterology
📍 Location: Meridian, ID (with coverage in Boise & Nampa)

🔍 What You’ll Be Doing

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and physical examinations
• Review medical histories and assess GI-related conditions thoroughly
• Order, interpret, and follow up on labs and imaging studies 🧪
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditions
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Prescribe medications and manage ongoing therapies 💊
• Educate patients on GI conditions, procedures, and preventive care
• Ensure continuity of care across clinic and hospital settings
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR (EPIC experience is a plus 📊)
• Collaborate closely with gastroenterologists and multidisciplinary teams

🎯 What You Bring

• Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
• Active or eligible Idaho state license
• Master’s degree required (Doctorate preferred) 🎓
• 1+ year of Gastroenterology experience (required)
• Background in clinic, hospital, ER, or specialty care settings
• Strong clinical reasoning and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities 💬
• Ability to thrive in a team-based environment

• 🕗 Clinic: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• 🏥 Inpatient rotations based on coverage needs
• 🌙 Occasional night call required
