About the Position
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a dynamic Gastroenterology team providing comprehensive care across outpatient clinics and inpatient settings. This role involves the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of a wide range of acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditions while promoting preventive health and long-term patient wellness.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment. Providers will have the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to coordinated patient care across multiple clinical sites while working closely with physicians and specialty teams.
Requirements
- Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Active, unrestricted Idaho state license or ability to obtain
- Master’s degree required (Doctorate preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of Gastroenterology experience required
- Experience in clinic, hospital, emergency, or specialty care settings
- Strong clinical reasoning and diagnostic skills
- Excellent patient education and communication abilities
- Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards and documentation practices
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Experience with electronic medical records (EPIC preferred)
