About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a dynamic Gastroenterology team providing comprehensive care across outpatient clinics and inpatient settings. This role involves the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of a wide range of acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditions while promoting preventive health and long-term patient wellness.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment. Providers will have the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to coordinated patient care across multiple clinical sites while working closely with physicians and specialty teams.

Requirements

  • Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
  • Active, unrestricted Idaho state license or ability to obtain
  • Master’s degree required (Doctorate preferred)
  • Minimum 1 year of Gastroenterology experience required
  • Experience in clinic, hospital, emergency, or specialty care settings
  • Strong clinical reasoning and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent patient education and communication abilities
  • Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards and documentation practices
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EPIC preferred)
