About the Position

🩺 Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) – Gastroenterology
📍 Location: Meridian, ID (with coverage in Boise & Nampa)

✨ Join a dynamic Gastroenterology team as a Full-Time Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA)! This role offers a balanced mix of outpatient clinic and inpatient care, giving you the opportunity to manage a wide range of GI conditions while working alongside a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

🏥 Facility Setting

Outpatient Clinic + Inpatient Hospital Coverage

🌟 Position Highlights

• Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Rotating inpatient coverage + occasional night call
• Work with experienced GI specialists in a supportive environment
• Exposure to diverse and complex GI cases
• Strong focus on patient-centered and preventive care

💼 Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations & physical exams
• Diagnose and manage acute & chronic GI conditions
• Order & interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic tests
• Develop and manage treatment plans
• Educate patients on conditions, procedures & preventive care
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation (EPIC preferred)
• Collaborate closely with physicians & care teams

Requirements

✅ Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
• Active Idaho license (or ability to obtain)
• Master’s degree required
• Minimum 1 year of Gastroenterology experience
• Strong clinical judgment & communication skills
• Experience in clinic, hospital, or specialty care settings
