About the Position

We’re working with a hospital system in Coastal North Carolina seeking Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to support Emergency Department coverage this Summer.

Highlights:
• Coverage beginning ASAP and ongoing into Summer 2026
• Mix of day and swing shifts available
• No call required
• Established team with physician and APP support
• Inpatient-focused Emergency Department coverage
• Specialty backup available (surgery, ortho, cardiology, telestroke)
• Average census around 20 patients
• No ICU or critical care responsibilities
• EMR: Epic
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice coverage provided

Facility Details:
• Community hospital setting with full support services
• Onsite radiology, lab, anesthesia, and surgical capabilities
• Air and ground transport available for higher acuity cases

Requirements:
• Recent ED experience required (within last 12 months)
• Active NC license and DEA
• BLS, ACLS, PALS/APLS certifications
