Physician – Hematology/Oncology (Locum Tenens)

Start Date: April 27, 2026
Initial Coverage: April 27 – May 1
Ongoing Need: 1 week per month
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8-hour day shifts
Setting: Outpatient
Call: Not required (optional weekend coverage available)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Board-Certified Hematology/Oncology Physician for an outpatient locum opportunity with ongoing monthly coverage. This is a well-supported practice with a balanced case mix and consistent patient volume.

Practice Details

• Outpatient oncology/hematology setting
• Strong onsite support:
  • 1 Full-Time Hem/Onc Physician
  • 1 Nurse Practitioner
  • 2 Radiation Oncologists
• EMR: Cerner (transitioning to Epic – Beacon in Oct 2026)

Patient Volume

• Clinic: ~16 patients/day
• Infusions: ~30/day
• Case Mix: 50% Oncology / 50% Hematology

Requirements

• Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology
• Active ND license (or IMLC eligible)
• DEA required
• Experience in outpatient oncology settings preferred
