What You’ll Do

  • Provide urology call coverage in a hospital setting, with onsite response within 20 minutes
  • Manage 1-5 patient consults per shift, including kidney stones, stent placements, hematuria management, and complex catheter placements
  • Perform rounding on new admissions and inpatient cases
  • Support discharge planning and patient education
  • Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure quality patient care and documentation
  • Document all call-back hours and patient interactions accurately for audit purposes
  • Respond to after-hours calls, provide support, and coordinate with the healthcare team

What You Need

  • Valid Michigan state medical license (or eligible for licensing)
  • Experience in urology or similar specialty preferred
  • Ability to respond promptly to onsite call-backs
  • Strong communication and clinical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
