What You’ll Do
- Provide urology call coverage in a hospital setting, with onsite response within 20 minutes
- Manage 1-5 patient consults per shift, including kidney stones, stent placements, hematuria management, and complex catheter placements
- Perform rounding on new admissions and inpatient cases
- Support discharge planning and patient education
- Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure quality patient care and documentation
- Document all call-back hours and patient interactions accurately for audit purposes
- Respond to after-hours calls, provide support, and coordinate with the healthcare team
What You Need
- Valid Michigan state medical license (or eligible for licensing)
- Experience in urology or similar specialty preferred
- Ability to respond promptly to onsite call-backs
- Strong communication and clinical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
