About the Position

Pediatric Dentist (Locum Tenens)

Start: June 16, 2026
End: August 28, 2026
Schedule: Monday through Thursday 8:00a to 5:00p with 1 hour unpaid lunch; Friday 8:00a to 2:00p
Coverage Dates Requested: July 21, 28, 31; August 7, 11, 14, 18, 28
Openings: 1
Travel: Mileage reimbursement

Position Overview

• Specialty focus: Pediatric Dentistry (ages 21 and under)
• Typical cases: Cleanings, exams, restorative, sealants
• Solo provider coverage

Site Details

• Average volume: 30 to 40 patients per day
• Support staff: 4 DAs, 2 EFDAs, plus 1 clinical provider
• Hygienist on site: No
• EMR: Dentrix (experience not required)

Required Qualifications

• Active Idaho dental license
• Medicaid credentials preferred at presentation; will accept if applied prior to start
• Experience: Will consider a General Dentist with 1 year of pediatric experience

Credentialing and Onboarding Items (must be provided)

• Estimated credentialing time: 1 to 2 weeks
• State license
• Medicaid credentialing documentation (or proof of application)
