About the Position

We are seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician for a full‑time locum tenens assignment providing outpatient clinic coverage. The provider will manage a mixed oncology and hematology caseload, with an approximate daily volume of 16 clinic patients and 30 infusion patients. The role is entirely outpatient with no inpatient responsibilities. The care team includes a full‑time Hem/Onc physician, a nurse practitioner, and radiation oncology support. Documentation is currently completed in Cerner, with a planned transition to Epic (Beacon) later in 2026.

Shift Details:

• Day shifts only, Monday–Friday
• Outpatient clinic and infusion oversight
• No mandatory call; optional weekend call may be available once per month
• No telehealth or remote work

Coverage Dates / Schedule:

• Full‑time coverage needed starting April 13, 2026
• Ongoing locum coverage welcomed
• Typical clinic hours align with standard 8‑hour day shifts

Requirements

MD specializing in Hematology/Oncology
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology
Active North Dakota medical license or eligibility to obtain
Comfortable managing a 50/50 oncology and hematology case mix
Experience in outpatient oncology clinic and infusion oversight
Willingness to transition EMR systems during assignment
Clean and up‑to‑date work history
