About the Position

We are seeking Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologists for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in an acute care hospital setting. This role includes a mix of scheduled inpatient and outpatient coverage, interventional procedures, and on-call responsibilities including STEMI call.

Schedule Details:

• Monday–Friday
• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Day shift
• Nightly call when covering
• STEMI call required

Specific Coverage Dates Include:

• June 3–4
• July 3–5 (Friday 8 AM through Monday 8 AM)
• August 1–3 (Saturday 8 AM through Tuesday 8 AM)
• August 22–23 (Saturday 8 AM through Monday 8 AM)
• Likely coverage during the last week of December

Coverage needs may include up to 40 hours per week, once every other month, with additional coverage for vacation relief as needed.

The physician will perform a full range of interventional cardiology procedures and manage patient care for adults across a broad age spectrum.

Requirements

Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology
Active Pennsylvania Medical License (willing to license acceptable)
DEA required
ACLS and BLS certifications required

Experience with interventional cardiology procedures including:
Right and Left Heart Catheterization
Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
Balloon Angioplasty
Balloon Pump
IVUS

Experience working in hospital and clinic settings
Epic EMR experience preferred
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
