About the Position
We are seeking experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for a full-time locum tenens assignment providing anesthesia coverage in a non-trauma hospital setting. This opportunity is initially scheduled for 90 days with a strong likelihood of extension and is designed to backfill full-time staff needs.
The role requires flexibility in scheduling and location, including cross-credentialing within a 60-mile radius to support coverage needs at nearby sites when required based on departmental demand.
Schedule Details:
- Full-time coverage required (4 weeks per month)
- Flexible scheduling based on operational needs:
- 4 x 10-hour shifts, or
- 5 x 8-hour shifts
- No on-call responsibilities
- Daytime anesthesia coverage only
CRNAs will deliver anesthesia care across various surgical settings, adapting to site-specific workflows and protocols. The practice environment is non-trauma and does not require academic or telehealth experience.
Requirements
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification required
Active South Carolina CRNA license
Temporary license acceptable with no malpractice history
Ability and willingness to cross-credential within a 60-mile radius
Comfortable working across multiple sites as scheduling demands
Strong adaptability to varied anesthesia workflows
Epic EMR experience preferred
No trauma experience required
