Description

We are seeking a Hematology/Oncology Attending Physician for a locum tenens opportunity in New York. This position offers a flexible schedule with no call requirements and a balanced mix of oncology and hematology cases. Providers will work in a supportive clinical environment with access to a dedicated infusion center.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient hematology and oncology care
• Manage approximately 10–12 patients per shift
• Oversee and coordinate infusion treatments as needed
• Treat a patient population consisting of approximately 70% oncology and 30% hematology cases
• Collaborate with clinical staff and infusion center team
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology
• Minimum 3 years of experience required
• Active New York medical license preferred
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Must not be currently employed by restricted affiliated organizations

Working Hours

• 3–5 days per week
• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• No call required
• Expedited credentialing available (6–12 weeks)
