About the Position

We are seeking a Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Southcentral Montana. This is a unique, high-impact role supporting both clinic-based primary care across the lifespan and pediatric inpatient services in a critical access hospital setting.

This is an ideal opportunity for a physician who values broad clinical scope, autonomy, and meaningful community impact.

• Clinic: 3 days per week
• Call: ~8 pediatric 24-hour call shifts per month (flexible based on coverage needs)

• Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages
  • Manage pediatric inpatient care and emergency stabilization
  • Perform newborn resuscitation
  • Respond to pediatric call within 20 minutes
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Requirements

Requirements:

• Active Montana Physician License (MD/DO) or ability to obtain quickly
• Board Certified – Family Medicine
• Active BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS
• Active DEA
• Strong experience in primary care and urgent care
• Long-term care experience preferred
