What You’ll Do

  • Provide inpatient pediatric care in a 30-bed ward with an average daily census of 16-18 patients
  • Perform newborn nursery examinations
  • Conduct pediatric consultations in the Emergency Department
  • Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists and intensivists
  • Work closely with a dedicated 16-bed PICU team
  • Participate in teaching pediatric residents and medical students
  • Engage in an academic environment through affiliation with the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine
  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered pediatric care at a Level II Trauma Center serving northern Nevada and northeastern California

What You Need

  • Board Certification or Eligibility in Pediatrics
  • Active Nevada medical license, or ability to obtain one
  • Minimum of 1+ years of pediatric inpatient experience preferred
  • Key skills: strong teamwork, excellent communication, and a passion for pediatric care
