About the Position

🩺 Position Overview

Join a growing and dynamic oncology program in beautiful Potsdam, NY! We are looking for a dedicated Hematology/Oncology Physician to provide high-quality patient care in a collaborative outpatient setting.

• 📅 Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
• ⏳ Assignment Length: 6–9 months
• 🌞 Shift: Day shift | ❌ No Call
• 🏥 Setting: Outpatient Clinic (minimal inpatient consults)
• 💻 EMR: Epic (with AI-assisted charting)

💉 Clinical Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive oncology care in an outpatient setting
• Administer and manage treatments including:
  • ⚗️ Chemotherapy
  • 🧬 Immunotherapy
  • 🎯 Targeted Therapy
  • 🌿 Hormone Therapy
• 👥 Manage 18–20 patients per day
• 🏨 Provide occasional inpatient consults (rare)

👨‍⚕️ Facility & Team Support

• 🪑 15 Infusion Chairs
• 🤝 Strong support team:
  • 1 MD
  • 1 Nurse Practitioner
  • 3 CNA/CMA
• 🚀 Program is expanding – ideal for adaptable physicians
