About the Position

🩺 Physician – Oncology/Hematology (Locum Opportunity)
📍 Minot, North Dakota

🌟 Position Overview:
• Start Date: ASAP
• Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8-hour day shifts
• Coverage Type: Full-time locum
• Practice Setting: Outpatient

🏥 Clinical Responsibilities:
• Manage a balanced mix of Oncology & Hematology cases (50/50)
• Provide care for ~16 clinic patients per day
• Oversee/coordinate ~30 infusion patients daily
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary oncology team
• Ensure continuity of care and treatment planning

👩‍⚕️ Team & Support:
• Full-time Medical Oncologist on-site
• Dedicated Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner
• 2 Radiation Oncologists available for collaboration
• Well-established infusion and support staff

Requirements

💻 Technology & Systems:
• Current EMR: Cerner
• Transitioning to Epic (Beacon) in October 2026
• Streamlined workflows and clinical support systems

⏰ Call & Flexibility:
• No mandatory call required
• Optional weekend coverage (1 weekend/month if interested)
• Flexible, predictable weekday schedule
