📖 Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Hematology/Oncology Physician for a locum opportunity in a well-supported outpatient setting. This role offers a balanced mix of oncology and hematology cases, along with access to a strong clinical support team.

You’ll provide high-quality care to adult patients while working in a collaborative environment with experienced providers and oncology specialists.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide outpatient hematology and oncology care
• Manage a balanced mix of oncology and hematology cases (50/50)
• Oversee clinic visits and coordinate infusion therapies
• Collaborate with oncology specialists and advanced practice providers
• Ensure accurate documentation using EMR systems
• Deliver patient-centered, evidence-based care

🏥 Practice Highlights

• Outpatient setting only
• Patient Volume: ~16 clinic patients/day + infusion support
• Strong on-site team including physicians, nurse practitioners, and radiation oncologists
• EMR transitioning from Cerner to Epic (Beacon)
• No mandatory call (optional weekend coverage available)
• No telehealth – fully onsite role

Requirements

✅ Requirements

• MD/DO required
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology
• Active medical license (or willingness to obtain)
• DEA required
• BLS certification required
