Emergency Nurse Practitioner

Location: Illinois

Schedule: Full time coverage. Flexible schedule.

Position Overview

• Provide emergency department coverage as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Practice setting and onboarding requirements are defined by site policy.

Required Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner.
• Active, unrestricted Illinois NP license.
• Illinois controlled substance registration.
• DEA with Illinois address and required schedules.
• Board certification through ANCC or AANP or equivalent approved by the Illinois board.
• ACLS, ATLS, and PALS.
• Collaborative agreement with a physician in good standing as required.
• Case logs for the past 24 months as required by the site.
• Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.

Credentialing and Onboarding

• Credentialing timeline varies by site. Estimated timeframe referenced as 61 to 90 days.
• Immunizations, TB testing, respirator fit testing, and required training modules may be required by the site.
