💰 Compensation: $130,000 – $150,000 annually (may include bonuses/incentives)

✨ Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive neurological patient care under physician supervision. This role supports diagnosis, treatment, and recovery for a diverse patient population, with hands-on responsibilities in both acute and primary care settings.

🩺 Key Responsibilities

• Provide healthcare services under physician supervision 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️
• Perform histories and physical exams; document medical findings 📝
• Treat minor injuries and perform procedures (sutures, splints, injections) 💉
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests; assist with diagnosis and care planning 🧪
• Prescribe medications and therapies per collaborative protocols 💊
• Monitor treatment response and counsel patients 🗣️
• Prepare patients for exams and conduct routine procedures (vitals, wound care) 🩹
• Manage emergencies and communicate clinical changes to physicians 🚨
• Maintain accurate records of treatments, procedures, and outcomes 📂
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams 🤝

Requirements

✅ Required:

• Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program 🎓
• Active New York State PA license
• NCCPA certification
• NY Controlled Substance Registration and DEA
• Postgraduate training in surgery or ≥1 year of relevant clinical experience

🌟 Preferred:

• Experience in Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, or Acute Care 🏥
• BLS and ACLS certification (DOT a plus)
• EMR/EHR proficiency 💻
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) 🗣️
