About the Position

🕒 Employment Type: Full-Time
💰 Compensation: $130,000 – $150,000 annually
🏥 Practice Setting: Interventional-focused outpatient pain management

✨ Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Pain Management Nurse Practitioner to join an interventional outpatient pain practice. This role focuses on evaluating and managing patients with acute and chronic pain, providing evidence-based, patient-centered care, and collaborating closely with physicians and clinical teams to optimize outcomes.

🩺 Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic pain conditions
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, including detailed histories and physical exams
• Develop and implement individualized pain management plans incorporating interventional and conservative treatments (medications, physical therapy, etc.)
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals
• Provide therapeutic pain relief and supportive care as appropriate
• Educate patients and families on pain management strategies and comfort measures
• Monitor medication effectiveness and adjust plans in coordination with physicians
• Serve as a liaison between patients and providers to optimize treatment outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR

Requirements

• Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license
• Strong knowledge of acute and chronic pain disorders
• Ability to evaluate complex pain conditions
• Prescriptive authority and relevant experience
