About the Position

Seeking a skilled General Surgeon for locum coverage in a hospital setting. This role focuses on in-house call coverage with no outpatient clinic duties. The position requires coverage for 24-hour shifts, typically scheduled one week at a time. Providers will support a broad patient population and manage a wide range of general surgical cases. EMR system in use is EPIC, and the hospital has 252 beds.

Schedule Highlights:

• 24-hour call shifts on assigned weeks
• Coverage needed: approximately 2.7 full-time equivalent per month

Requirements

• Board Certified in General Surgery
• Valid medical license and DEA registration required
• Robotic surgery experience preferred but not required
• Minimum experience: not specified
• Credentialing timeframe: 90–120 days (temporary coverage available for clean files)
