About the Position

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Urologist for a 6-month locum tenens assignment covering full-time 24-hour call. This position offers a mix of inpatient call, operating room procedures, and outpatient support, with exposure to Level 1 trauma patients.

Shift Details:

• Monday–Monday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM, full-time call coverage
• Average call back per day: 4–8 hours
• Patient population: adults 18+ (emergency pediatric torsion rare)
• Support staff: APPs onsite

Work Highlights:

• Hospital setting with 16 ORs
• Robotic surgery available (if within provider scope)
• Supervision of NPs/PAs required
• EMR: EPIC

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
• PA medical license preferred for expedited start
• DEA registration required
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Credentialing timeframe: 90 days (temporary coverage available with clean file)
