About the Position

Seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Urologist for a 6-month locum tenens assignment in a hospital-affiliated clinic setting with both office and procedural responsibilities. This role provides a combination of inpatient call, outpatient clinic, and operating room coverage.

Shift Details:

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Full-time coverage with call for most weekends (exceptions possible)
• Office clinic sees ~28 patients/day; call varies (~15 patients/day)
• Robotic surgery available; core procedures include vasectomy, cystoscopy, prostate procedures, ureteroscopy, penile plication, lithotripsy, and occasional circumcision or orchiopexy

Work Highlights:

• Support staff includes 4 MAs, 1 RN, 1 CSA
• EMR: EPIC
• Trauma Level: 1
• Operating Rooms: 16 across hospital and outpatient surgery center

Requirements

• BC or BE in Urology
• PA medical license preferred for expedited start
• DEA registration required
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Credentialing timeframe: 90 days (temps available with clean file)
